Description
Elk (Roosevelt or Rocky Mountain) antler cut to make a uniquely flat button. These large to extra large sized buttons come in your choice of Half Moon, Quarter Moon or Long and Skinny. They are cut from the outside of elk antlers and are quite durable.
Thickness varies between 3/16″ and 3/8″. Buttons are flat on one side and half round on the other with one flat cut edge. Best used face up. Drilled with two 1/8” holes. May be light or dark brown. Assorted textures. Bag of 4 similar buttons.
Styles:
Long and Skinny – Approximately .5 inch wide and 1.75 to 2.25 inches long.
Half Moon – Thick in center tapers to edges for a .75 to 1.5 inch square.
Quarter Moon – Thick at top edge and tapers to opposite side for a .75 to 1.5 inch square.
